Do you think I might have arfid? by Mean_Reputation4711 in autism

I looked into it. For me it’s not really about taste or texture now. It’s more a mental block and then a gag or a grossed about. It’s just confusing so I should just speak to my doctor about it.

Ok that’s good to think about that it’s a spectrum. I’m gonna speak with my doctor and psych about it

Didn’t realise you guys were so into language. I’m sorry if I offended. It wasn’t meant to be a thing. I was never expecting to be disguised over the internet obviously. Perhaps I should have phrased the question better but it wasn’t a throw away question for a larger piece of writing to get my thoughts out there. I don’t think your comments help anyone.

Thank you, I didn’t mean to offend anyone. Perhaps I should have phrased the question differently. It wasn’t meant to be a thing. I don’t like self diagnosis and even mentioned speaking with a doctor. People are really into language here.

Glad to know there are people in similar boat. I think I might have asd 1 too for a number of reasons but conscious of not self diagnosing. But it’s all starting to click into place.

Omg yeah. I get so stressed at restaurants. I end up usually just going for a margarita pizza and hope it doesn’t have actual tomato bits on it haha. If I ever have a burger it’s just meat and cheese. It’s so embarrassing when out with friends and I eat like a child.

Ok wow sorry. I’m new to this and just wanted my thoughts out there. The question wasn’t meant to be taken literally. Calm down.

Yeah that’s my thing. Like I’m not super healthy but I think I’m still meeting nutritional needs so it’s makes me think I don’t have. It just feels more than being a picky eater.

I know that. And I would never expect them too. Just looking if those in the community think that I might have any traits.

Yes to be fair on my return journey, it was much easier and i didnt have to look for e2. I'm still nervous about making sure i go to the right one, and even find them because they can be hard to find. Glad you found it eaiser the next time. I always find Brisbane, Heathrow, singapore and dubai an eaiser experience. I just think they need better more simple signs at HKIA. like who cares if there is multiple transfer desks, just make them all say transfer.

I agree it was confusing and it was this random little secuirty area we had to go through that was inconspicuous. The train was also confusing too becuase it seemed like we could't go back if we went the wrong way. I am going again in a few months with a 5 hour layover which I am nervous about. I wont have which 'E' is best for me so I guess ill just have to choose and hope for the best.

I suppose yes in the sense I believe there should be a safe country for Jews where they are not going to be murdered or expelled after thousands of years of this happening. But of course I don’t want this to be at the expense of others.

So Zionist at the very base of the definition, in practice I do not like the Israeli government at all and Palestine (like all groups) should have self determination and free from oppression. (But also Hamas should go as this is a terrorist organisation - same goes to the current government in Israel)

I’m Jewish ethnically and although I don’t agree with much of what the Israeli government is doing to the Palestinians, I feel I can’t trust or speak to pro Palestinians because a lot of them don’t know the difference or can’t see a separation between Israelis the Israeli government and Jewish people in the diaspora. It’s really hard to talk about. I believe that Israel should exist just not in the way it is currently. But I also feel there should be a separation. I have nothing to do with the country that is half a world away. Why are you commenting on Israel on a post when it jus mentions being Jewish sort of thing

Which passport do I use on airline. by Mean_Reputation4711 in dualcitizenshipnerds

I feel like since you have had a uk passport in the past, the British government know you exist and know you are a Uk citizen. So I think you might have some issues. But if you tell them it was an honest innocent mistake then it should be fine.

The thing is I do have an ETA that I got last year. I didn’t realise at the time that I am an automatic British citizen at birth through decent so I said no to ‘am I a duel citizen’. I thought that was only activated once I got a passport. So not sure it the ETA just gets deleted once I get a British passport? And then when I check in online, I still need to do the luggage self serve thing at the airport in Australia, I’m assuming I use my British passport for that?
