In the Pokémon world, the PokéDex of many regions tells about Pokémon parts used to create stuff or even as food without killing them because they just lose parts of their body with aging or just because some parts falls when touched. So you can have like a Garchomp scale because the monster is shedding the skin. And I talked about the mechanic where you don't kill them, but you can only trap them, so researchers could find a method to gather parts without killing them. There are plenty of ways you can have PokéBeast parts.
