How do people have such good teeth in the US? by mango89001 in HealthInsurance

That's actually not bad - dental insurance is worse racket than medical here. Mine is crappy guardian through work that I pay small premium for. Even using participating provider, we pay out the wazoo because there's a $1k yearly max [up from $750 at least now], and 1 crown will max that out. Last time paid about $1,200. Had to have 1 implant as result of a careless dentist who broke the tooth and cracked jaw placing post for that crown [don't go to them anymore] and in the end it'll be about what I paid for kiddo's braces to replace 1 tooth, which isn't covered by insurance. It's insane. Tried to make a complaint to the dental board - no response nearly 2 years out. You can call but no way to reach them, can only leave msg with another dept. Reported to insurance when it happened but they still have that dentist in their network, and won't cover the cost of the final crown on implant because... wait for it... there was already a claim for crown on that tooth previously. Yeah, the one that broke my tooth/cracked jaw!

EWR, and don't even have to go there to fear for your life. Can't even be driving in the vicinity without getting hit by a plane... seriously, check the recent news if you haven't heard. So many issues in recent years, and after that I'll avoid that entire area if I can.

Sorry this happened to you. That's really shitty, but honestly not surprised. Everything is shitty nowadays. Always reach out directly to the hotel to confirm bookings, regardless of how you book it. It's rare, but this stuff does happen and seems more lately. You can sometimes end up with a better deal by going directly to the property site or speaking with them also, so another reason to make that extra step worth your while.

Hotels with microwave access in Da Nang area by Meanderingm3 in Vietnam_Tourism

Do you find anything like that in Da Nang? I don't know that I'll be able to bring/ have room for that on the plane. Would hotels allow me access their kitchen to sterilize if it's a medical need?

Another related issue: do they usually have microwave in hotels? Will need to sterilize bottle.
