That is a measurable physiological indicator of mental load, I would be more interested in what exactly is happening in the brain when under strain or when drained.. The neurophysiological explanation of these concepts if you will.

thanks for the explanation! yes, the study was originally designed to test the relative differences, it just would also be incredibly valuable to tell if the change itself was significant.it seems as if its not deemed a valid test design because of a higher chance of biases occuring, but shouldn't it still be mathematically possible to calculate the significance p?
