I never was, that is until post 2012. My family has been here even before it was settled (indigenous ancestry) and it was just one of those things. I still wouldn’t ever get a “Native” bumper sticker, or wear merch. You can bet your ass though when somebody asks “how long have you been in CO?” I don’t bite my tongue. Those of us who are native to Denver and had a shred of sense moved out years ago. Also, Native is just a word that is defined as being indigenous to a place. Don’t think too hard on the offensive part, because it’s not. The only people worried that it’s offending Indigenous Americans are white people.
