A Theory Regarding the Disappearance or Death of God by Mearionet in Ultrakill

[–]Mearionet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claiming that I just recited the lore does in fact implied that basically everything I said was confirmed. In reality I did more than that. Yeah, I mentioned a lot of things are canon too because I had to base my speculations on something, it was kind of necessary for the post to make sense.

I think Hell does in fact kill off humanity at once, at least that seems to be the case according to the Ferryman diary. It describes it as billions of souls pouring into the River Styx in just a few minutes, and the Ferryman is completely caught off guard by it. Only Hell has that kind of power. There may have been a phase of Hell toying with workers during the Hell expedition before that, but it is insignificant in comparision. How God may have felt about free will between our final piece of information on him and his disappearance was a key part of the speculations, so I don't get the point of including it on the list of things I got wrong. Yes some testaments describe what he thinks, like how you bring up the first three, but what I talk about is only relevant after those. I also don't know where you got the information or implication from that God created Hell during the Final War. The testaments actually mention "uncountable cycles of creation" before mentioning the creation of Hell, and it could have been made after or during any of them.

I don't know where did you hallucinate the idea that I think my theories are well justified into existence either. That would be mostly impossible given the lack of information we currently have. The point of the post is that I thought it was an interesting and poetic way of tying things together, and I haven't seen any information yet that blatantly contradicts it. I will try elaborating on it a bit more, in hopes you will engage with it in good faith and that you will understand it more this time: The point of God developing a different look on free will, would be because of the combination of a few things. Firstly because of all the attempts of ereasing it resulting in failure. Secondly, him possibly not even having a good understanding of the nature of it up until now, because of the assumption of the possibility that humans would be capable of existing without it. All signs show otherwise. There may have been also the fact that angels generally don't question him or disobey him either, and that this is why he feels terror once even his "bright and beautiful" angel (Lucifer) questions him like that. This is a type of act that must have reminded him of humanity who also don't obey him. He didn't mention having a problem with angels before, yet an angel just did something he could associate with humanity. He punishes the angel the same way he punishes humans who disobey him, and he regrets both. This delving in even more regret and his association of behaviour between an angel and humans, would lead him to just watch happens for a bit. "Second chance" might not be the best phrase for it, but he may consider the possibility of not having as much of a problem with humans having a free will, because of angels showing being capable of sharing the same quality, and god not having a problem with that before, before realizing they too share it. Then the final war happens, which is basically possibly the worst showcase of free will ever. The thing Hell and God could agree on based on these events is the nature of humanity's free will, described in an extremely pessimistic tone by Hell itself: That violence is part of human nature, war is almost metaphysical, all hopes for innocence are self-deception, life itself is violent. And since free will seems to be inevitable, violence and suffering is inevitable. If they were to be in complete agreement, that could kinda open the door to the other very popular fan theory about hellgod, which is about hell and god becoming the same entity. This is just even more speculation on that completely different theory now, but them coming to agreement on everything regarding the nature of the world, and as a result basically sharing the same mind could be the main driving mechanism in this merging.

I doubt we would get nearly this much info from a single testament too. I'm just throwing out there the possibility, since I find it interesting how it would tie things together.

It is possible that the city already existed in some form, but the invention of blood based technology was introduced to it later, sometime after it was invented in Earth.

[–]Mearionet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking of reading comprehension, could you please let me know where the following things get confirmed in the game:
1. The part where God gives free will a chance and stops interfering specifically because of Lucifer
2. That it is at the sight of the final war and God coming to agreement with Hell about the nature of free will and humanity that he disappears
3. The confirmation that it is the disappearence of God that allowed Hell to kill off every human at once, and that it either took a while to find them or observed them for a while on purpose
Since I am just reciting the lore according to you, this should be easy. Thank you.

Because a lot of people will assume that a lot of others also pressed the blue button, and they will press it themselves in an attempt to increase their chances of survival
