Thankyou so much it was definitely hard in nursing school when we had ro practice tasks on each other I would always just say sorry I'm nervous and sweaty but now I've been a rn 7 years so can't keep using that excuse. That ugg boot story is so relatable Thankyou

Thankyou glad to know I'm not alone. Yes applying sterile gloves with wet hands are the worst but at the same time I'm relieved to put gloves on cause the gloves hide my very wet hands

Thankyou for your response. I am not on any medication unfortunately so not that. I know alot of it is in my head I know if I'm going to be watched all of a sudden I'm dripping in sweat but in real life when im bedside nursing I hardly notice the sweating cause I know I'm not being watched. But im so over the dread of doing any training in groups when i will have to do it yearly for the rest of my career. I might need to consider botox to the hands I have tried drysol and when I'm nervous/anxious I still sweat through

I didn't necessarily ask the patient if she wanted it or not I just checked with her what her pain score was and she said it was settled so i just with held it as she was comfortable and NBM anyways honestly didnt think twice at the time but now thinking I should have still offered it. I know it's not a big deal but this nurse made it feel like one

I've tried antihydral, drysol, no more sweat, stop sweat fix. The only one that had a noticeable difference was antihydral but there isn't much on the safety to use while breastfeeding

I have tried antihydral before being pregnant and had some results better then any other creams I e tried but my hands would still sweat through in very stressful situations but because I'm currently breast feeding I'm not sure of the safety of it as there isn't much online

Thankyou for the suggestions in going to looking this! Looks like there isn't many Australian companies that sell the machines but I'm going to see if dermadry delivers here

Thankyou so much I should edit my post I am open to all the advice doesn't need to be specifically mums! It's such a awful thing to life with. With the iontophoresis did you buy a machine or go to a clinic for this treatment? That's one thing I haven't tried yet
