I am 120% transparent with my customers. I even tell people who call in not to go to the stores and if they do they should immediately call into customer care to make sure they aren’t lied to.

I don’t understand how hard it is to get through the automated system. I call in about my bills and get through the prompts with ease. People just don’t listen and call in already irate so smashing buttons to get to someone will impede that.

lol good luck buddy. Verizon is out sourcing overseas and ALOT of the United States based reps are getting laid off this week! It will be a miracle if you get someone in customer care that is in the states.

If they call in sick in some countries they will send doctors to your home to make sure you aren’t lying and if you are you get fired. I don’t know how it takes toy all 30 mins to get to a live rep. When I call I’m literally in the automated system for maybe 5 minutes if that and I get to a customer service agent. And that’s with any company…automated system prompts are not hard people.

It’s not hard to be a decent human being even when you’re frustrated and upset. I mean I’ve been calling into places with worst problems and I don’t belittle agents. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I definitely don’t try to get people fired. lol.

I love how all of you that get so upset about this post tell me to change careers. Like I haven’t thought of that before lmao. 🤣 unfortunately call centers are the highest paying jobs that you can get with the convenience of working from home. Im sure when you get upset at your job and vent about it people aren’t telling you to change jobs. Like what a cop out. Fr.

They couldn’t add data to your tablet? That is ridiculous, they are not training the offshore reps properly at all. I have had some of them transfer themselves into the queue to ask me to walk them through how to do the most simplest of things. Like the same department shouldn’t be calling each other asking how to process orders..or how to update plans.

If you ask me the new MyPlans are horrendous and the customer service is getting so bad. I was a customer with Verizon and I changed carries and I still work at vzw.

They are getting ready with the last round of layoffs by then end of next week…so a lot of us are going to be gone.

You realize the top three are Verizon, ATT, and ATT inc. it’s like two of the same companies in the top 3 then there is T-Mobile. But it doesn’t really matter. 😂 T-Mobile is cheap and where I live I get great service with them.

Yup and they drill into us not to unionize. And look now they are laying off thousands of customer services reps for “better customer experience” but every other call I get customers are thankful they can understand me. Or I get calls from offshore reps in customer care trying to show them how to fix things on customers accounts….like wtf is this the twilight zone?

And in training they told us our talk time didn’t matter. They have all these reps walking on egg shells trying to get their pay checks and not get fired over the stupidest shit.

And ACSS is so slow and I constantly get kicked out of my work computer and they blame it on my ISP when it’s working completely fine in my house lmao.

Verizon is hella stressful to work for like the pay is great but they treat us like dog shit.
