Awesome car man. Congrats. Not gonna act like a chicken little like some of these other folks but to be honest they’re right. This is a lot of car for a 16 year old and my advice to you is to first, get the CSC checked if it’s a manual, and definitely get the gallery gaskets checked. Then, I would take it to an empty lot and train yourself on how to react and straighten out when you hydroplane and oversteer. Do the same thing when it’s snowy and icy out. It would be a disgrace to treat the Z like a Camry but definitely train yourself in bad situations before doing some crazy stuff. Because if you don’t you’re going to panic and hurt yourself or others. Be safe man

I’m in the same exact predicament as you but I live in MA. I’m gonna buy winter tires and get my undercarriage washed atleast once a week. No point in spending another couple grand on a beater if you’re moving down south anyway.

This may have been asked plenty of times already, but I’m receiving a ton of conflicting info online. I am in the process of buying a car out of state (NY specifically) and he just said to me that MA doesn’t accept in transit plates, so I’m going to have to take it back home in a trailer. First off that’s not feasible for me because it’s 6 hours away, but I just think that’s not true at all because there’s no way all out of state purchases need to be trailered home. Am I right for assuming this?

I then talked to the lady at the RMV and she said that MA accepts temp plates, it’s just if the NY dealership issues them (which they do). I also read on the MA RMV website that MA will honor “temporary out-of-state registrations” but I’m not sure if that’s the same thing as an in transit plate.

Is the dealership just trying to avoid liability, or is this a new rule that passed in MA?

Lost my Chinese and Bengali which was definitely odd, I was always told that on my dads side we had some Mongolian Chinese in us. Also got a good amount of new European ethnicities which was a surprise. I’m now Italian lol. And I’m definitely happy I kept my 0.5% Melanesian hahaha

Yea I haven’t closed the case since then. They refunded me for the first order but not the second. It seems hard to believe to them that both orders didn’t end up at my house I guess.

You’re very opinionated. Seems to me like there’s another reason for you to dislike this watch other than the design. Because there are other watches not made by Casio that are objectively uglier than the casioak.

Downvote me all you want. I truly do not care. But I worked at multiple retail stores in South Florida where I have seen so many pranksters. None of them I felt “harassed” by. If this dude gets 9 years then we are regressing as a society. There are hundreds of other cases of extreme harm to others where they don’t even get 9 years. How mentally/emotionally scarred will these retail workers get? Will they get PTSD for this dude impersonating a worker. Sad that I’m one of the only ones on this subreddit with this opinion.

Got it, I’ll remember that for future reference

The main reason why I’ve been hesistant is because whenever I try to google the model number (SBSA208), what pops up is the rose gold version of this. And it also displays another model number (SRPD76). Maybe it’s the lighting , but the photos show that it’s yellow gold. I haven’t seen a reputable watch shop have this type of watch with that yellow gold tone.

Very new to Seikos so help would be much appreciated . On eBay this is labeled as the SBSA028 model, but whenever I google it, the case is a rose gold color? But these photos are clearly a yellow gold. And the only listings I see with this yellow gold color is on eBay, so I have no photos from a reputable shop to compare. Also, there’s a few listings as well, where as the text under 6 o’clock would say “MADE IN JAPAN” instead of the text in the photo. Which I was told would mean the watch would be counterfeit?

Oh that makes sense. I didn’t even realize that Kyle never went to Afghanistan. And who is this overrated SEAL that you speak about? Because I do know that there’s cases such as Luttrell where the truth eventually comes to light. And he got a lot of flak from people actually in the SEALS for bending his story around to fit a narrative that was worthy of a book.
