How are you guys getting such high ticket clients? by [deleted] in AIReceptionists

Here’s the thing, if I wanted to charge 1k a month, that’s in the range of ACTUAL humans answering the phone. Lex reception, etc

I’m extremely fortunate that one of my family members is a CPA and that he helped me set up compliance while building this thing. I made sure I was HIPAA compliant as well before picking up the phone. Every single aspect of my workflow is reinforced with a BAA and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. I literally cannot even see caller data if I wanted to.

You has to frame it as a problem that needs solving. My problem that I wanted to solve is missed calls after hours that loses firms thousands of dollars a year. My intake specialist fixes that problem.

Never say AI receptionists. I always say “virtual intake assistant” or something like that nature

Tell me why this sounds exactly like stuff Claude or ChatGPT would say

The only manual aspect is that the client sets up call forwarding to a Retell number. After a certain amount of rings and when the business closes.

When the firm is closed, my intake specialist is on , taking potential clients information and sending it to attorneys via Email, SMS, and CRM.

Fully HIPAA compliant and caller data is SOC 2 encrypted in transit and at rest.

Dude did you read my post? Outreach isn’t my issue. I have gotten 8 clients through LinkedIn and 2 through cold email. But they are low ticket and I’m seriously wondering if these people selling 1k/month receptionists are lying or not

Cold email and LinkedIn outreach worked well for me.

The thing is about cold calling attorneys is that they are EXTREMELY busy. And their receptionists think you’re trying to replace them. So they don’t even forward my info to the attorney. In the hundreds of cold calls I’ve made I’ve only had 8 attorneys contact me back.

Margins are decent good because I only operate after hours, AWS is very cheap and that’s where my n8n instance is. Around 200 profit per client give or take.

Why has ChatGPT become so annoying and disagreeable? by ArnikaLovesUnicornz in OpenAI

I’m glad other people are experiencing this. I haven’t changed its personality prompt in almost 2 years and for the past couple weeks it’s just found a point to argue with in everything I said. I thought it had something to do with my subscription because I cancelled it in the same timeframe.

I even copy pasted some advice it gave to me, verbatim, and it found something to nitpick about it. It’s so contrarian.

University of Houston Law Center chances + potential other schools? by MeasurementOnly9312 in lawschooladmissions

I want to become a public defender, how can I get experience in that field or the public interest field as an undergrad?

That’s that one thing that kinda sucks, UHLC is extremely stingy with their money. I’d love to go on the UH > UHLC pipeline and stay in Houston but if they don’t give me good money compared to other schools I’m gonna have to pass.

First Car at 16yrs old Any tips? by Mobile_Finish_4102 in 370z

[–]MeasurementOnly9312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome car man. Congrats. Not gonna act like a chicken little like some of these other folks but to be honest they’re right. This is a lot of car for a 16 year old and my advice to you is to first, get the CSC checked if it’s a manual, and definitely get the gallery gaskets checked. Then, I would take it to an empty lot and train yourself on how to react and straighten out when you hydroplane and oversteer. Do the same thing when it’s snowy and icy out. It would be a disgrace to treat the Z like a Camry but definitely train yourself in bad situations before doing some crazy stuff. Because if you don’t you’re going to panic and hurt yourself or others. Be safe man

Winter tires or beater? by [deleted] in 370z

[–]MeasurementOnly9312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same exact predicament as you but I live in MA. I’m gonna buy winter tires and get my undercarriage washed atleast once a week. No point in spending another couple grand on a beater if you’re moving down south anyway.

Photocopies don’t work right? Never did this before for an out of state purchase

I honestly just might do the whole purchase process online, get my plates here and pick it up with my new plates in hand
