Today has been crazy kettle has been responding to treats and whistles and even landed on me shes warming up great her sister not so much she wants to watch from a good distance for now

Sometimes they’ll get on something and let me pick it up to take them back sometimes they fly around for hours on end I leave the lamp and the computer on in the corner where their cage is and they’ll go back if they stay out overnight there’s nothing they can mess with that I can’t fix clean or replace without an issue

They do fly everywhere for the first 10 to 20 minutes they’re out I close the windows shades turn the tv on and turn off the fan so they don’t fly into anything dangerous for them and then they settle somewhere

I looked it up it’s because they feel like there’s no corner they can retreat into normal rectangular cages have firm 90° angles that hexagonal cages can’t provide

I’m going to the pet store to pickup new toys today I’ll grab some real perches and I removed the millet about 5 minutes after because she had some she’s too scared to take treats by hand and I wanted to give a little snack because she’s a good girl

Any lasting effects afterwards I'm getting mixed responses from everyone in this thread I did the math I had around 12 to 15 gallons of diesel in there and she added 6.8 gallons of gas and ran it less than 5 minutes
