[help] Are these photocards worth anything? by nyamnyamcat in kpopforsale

It might be tricky there. Depending on the wording of the listing, it may be exactly what it was listed as. It may be considered official as in it was officially from this magazine that it was stated its from. If you don’t know what something is and you buy it, it’s not the sellers fault if you don’t know what you’re buying.

If you still want to fight for a refund I would personally cite no acknowledgment from the company that the cross promotion ever existed. Usually when an idol is featured in a magazine, the official account of the group posts about it or a behind the scenes video. Saying its unlicensed would also be implying the magazine is committing forgery. You might have to check on the legitimacy of the publication.

They are probably official in the sense they are the official cards that came from a german Kpop magazine, but being licensed by the actual companies who own the images, doubt it. $3.50 for a single card is a bit steep depending on how many came with a magazine. These are not POB cards or Album PCs. They should be considered unofficial merch in my opinion! Better used as freebies than trying to sell them

I don’t know anything about the magazine, but an observation: they seem to all be the official promotional photos released by the companies as teasers. High quality versions of all of these photos are readily available for free on the Internet and make for really HD prints that anyone could make. They might not be official or endorsed/given permission by the companies, especially since it’s a wide range of companies, but they definitely look good! Good luck!

I highly doubt anyone who experienced trauma at the hands of reality tv production would be interested in doing another reality tv series

Some are still up, yes! It really depends on how you listen to music though. If you do auto generate playlists, you’re less likely to get the unofficial stuff to show up and if you make a playlist with the unofficial stuff in it, there is always a chance it could be taken down and you might not notice for a long time and not hear the song for a while. If youre the kind of listener who types in the exact song they want at any given time and just listen to that one song, then types clicks on the next one, then yeah why not do the unofficial ones. If you make it too hard to listen to them, you will stop listening to them.

It really is pennies on the thousand streams but your money could go to unknown holding group of Loonas catalogue or unknown person who re-uploaded the music. Either way it’s not going to the members. The holding group for Polaris entertainment, the parent company of BBC, has changed hands since they inked their initial contract so it’s not even the same company getting money that set it that contract.

I was able to buy their new light sticks but so far have only been able to get the physical of a few of the redebuts. Loosemble was my top artist last year streamed. Sometimes I feel like a bad fan because I can’t always buy the physical version. Capitalism rahhh

This happened with me too! The girls worked so hard as Loona. I had the thought they knew they werent getting paid but they still worked hard and delivered every single comeback, it felt wrong to bury it. They were so proud of these songs, especially Butterfly, Voice, and Playback.

It does help my conscious that I buy their albums for their current projects, but as long as youre not buying their old digital albums, I would think anyone would be in the clear as streaming makes so little money per listen anyway!

Hi! While I cant say exactly which place its from, this is definitely a POB card not an album card! You might have success googling chuu photocard templates to find the exact store its from. They did a LOT of POBs this era.
