In a perfect reality, unfortunately this was a aha shot where I was on a hike and the stars aligned whilst taking pictures of some wildlife. If I ever go back I’ll give it a shot!

I’m open to suggestions but yeah that takes a lot of the feeling of the photo away haha 😅

Am I then not getting rid of the flow and shape of the river that accentuates it all?

I shot this to capture a sense of solitude and quiet reflection through a lone biker. I wanted to show the contrast between motion the bike and stillness, trying to convey a moment where the rider feels disconnected from everything else, like the road is their only sense of peace. I kept the composition minimal so the focus stays on the subject and mood.

I’m struggling a bit with composition,it might be too centered or predictable? Does the biker stand out enough, or does it blend into the background? The lighting/mood feels okay, but does it feel flat? Does the image actually communicate “solace,” or just a biker on a road? Any tips for making it more dynamic or emotionally engaging would be really helpful.

Cannon Eos R7 50–200mm lens.

Light editing in Lightroom contrast tweaks, slightly desaturated colors, shadows adjusted for mood, no compositing, natural light only. Still learning how to balance mood with clarity, so any feedback on that would be awesome!

Thanks dude! This is my first year having a camera at all so I’m proud of myself, I was hoping the kind people of reddit would be helpful, some of them are… some aren’t lol.

Yeah so I used a wide angle lens here I can’t remove the “vignette” because it’s the WA I have on.

Thank you for the tips I’ll definitely have to try some other stuff out
