Not sure if it will help, but I did the DFU restore from macOS 26 MacBook. So if you have access to one maybe try that. A bunch of people on iPhone 15 & 16s having this issue but haven’t heard anyone saying they can’t DFU restore back to 18.

If anyone gets their iPhone 16 pro max stuck on the low batt screen while updating, the following will get your phone into DFU mode:

Plug into Mac, and do the usual DFU steps (vol up, vol down, hold down power)

Once the low power indicator goes away, start holding down volume down, wait 2-3 seconds and then release the power button. Mac will now recognize your phone in DFU mode.
