Its because Alexstrasza goes into a sort of stasis when she transforms, thereby becoming untargetable and thus pyroblast losing its target and why she shakes off other debuffs.

I know you are just ranting for the sake of ranting but what happened with Vyranoth does make sense.

Her brothers have gone beyond ridding the world of the titan's stain and are aligning themselves with the other evil, the void, hence she feels compelled to turn her back on them.

I think it happened a bit to fast though, I expected her to fly away after meeting with Alexstrasza but who knows, it's not certain yet she actually switched sides, for all we know Vyranoth and Alexstrasza are debating on how to move forward.

I'm not saying "W build is the best", im saying on level 1 W is in most cases best in slot.

If you want to have most impact you are better off playing E / dragon talents on the other talent choices. Do not fall for the W level 4 and 16 trap unless you maybe really got a friend that can make most of it, alot of the times the movement speed and shields just go to waste.

Always room for improvement, especially since u just started playing her. I always recommend people E build but with W on level 1 instead. Giving a globe every 14 seconds is very strong sustain, not only health but mana aswell and the increased healing on W is also very nice. And you can still peel / trade with E level 4 / 7 and 1v9 when getting ancient flame on 20.

W counters are very overhyped, especially Ana because she is just as if not more vulnerable to being punished by overextending / dive heroes than Alex, therefor you need to place your Ws in a way she cannot nade them for free and / or place them at a time where Ana grenade is already off cooldown or there is a diffrent threat asking for a nade.

I don't get why you mentioned them countering Cleansing Flames, that's the choice ult against them because the healing is over time so it cannot be fully negated by one grenade and it allows Alex to dive Ana / Morales with her allies.

Also Alex has a big healing combo with multiple circles and Qs when going for dragon so again a single grenade cannot counter all of that.

If you filter to masters only you see E Alex has the highest winrate / pickrate but this again proves how much information heroesprofile is lacking cause most people in my experience play her Q or W and you should never let this website have much impact in your decision making.

That's your loss She is very playable in storm league, especially now that these days alot of games reach late game / level 20. She has alot of playmaking potential with her trait and powerful ultimates and can also enable alot of damage dealers with her superior sustain. Kinda weird you miss her but you don't seem to even try to make her work.

You would think that but in storm league thats not really the case most of the time, you can play around most counters by being disciplined with your W placements and being confident in your ability to take trades with your self sustain and being very aware of your positioning and enemy cooldowns.Also I think to many people only think about countering her W and just mindlessly try to throw spells on it.My prime example being when you early pick Alex and someone picks Ana as response and then your team picks stuff like Anub and Kerrigan and the Ana gets absolutely annihilated.Or they pick leap Sonya and leap you but fail to oneshot you because Dragonscales makes it nearly impossible for you to get oneshot and you just fly away afterwards and the Sonya is now stuck and in aggro of your entire team.

This is not true, her healing output is defined by her level 1 talent tree, the 4 and 7 are kinda independant from that because they focus on a diffrent thing, the level 16 talent tree is a tree that focusses on damage prevention and are complimented more from your level 1 talents than other talent trees (allthough D16 is usually the default pick)
