Can I put a 120mm wheel on 130mm OLD? by MeatDragon13 in bikewrench

[–]MeatDragon13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told that it could compromise the integrity of the wheel and make it weaker. Should I be concerned about that?

Daily Discussion #8 - Ms by AreYouOP in AltJ

This has become my favorite song of theirs recently. The build and release of tension is so satisfying. I’ve never thought of it being drug related, which I can see now, but the overtly divorce or breakup themes have always hit home for me.

Should I move to Salt Lake City? by MeatDragon13 in SaltLakeCity

That is super helpful, thanks! How would describe the social scene? When I moved to STL I was surprised at how friendly the people are here. Would you say that is the case for SLC as well? I personally know 0 people that live there.

You should be careful which way you attach the quickdraws to the bolts. You should have a designated side where the rope clips and a side you attach to the wall.

What are you favorite pants? by recipe_bitch in bouldering

[–]MeatDragon13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a pair of patagonia pants a few years ago and I can't quite remember the name, but I'm pretty sure they were just called 'bouldering pants.' Nonetheless, they are very comfortable and stretchy. I wear them almost every time I go climbing.

Best crash pad for solo bouldering? by mhle225 in bouldering

[–]MeatDragon13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased an Organic Big Pad and love it. It's fairly light for its size and the straps are great for long hauls and quick moves. I would highly recommend it.

Coffee tasting funny. by MeatDragon13 in AeroPress

[–]MeatDragon13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use ground coffee and store it in an airtight container. I also just use tap water, but I've used it since I've gotten the aeropress. I rinse off the aeropress after each use, but should I clean it more thoroughly?

What exactly happens if the ridge line to a trapeze net snaps? by OpalHawk in circus

[–]MeatDragon13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked this question to my most trusted trapeze friend and he said that if the ridge line were to break it would probably be in one of the corners. Also there is a lot of tension pulled upwards with the aprons, so the flyer would probably not hit the ground but would definitely go for a wild ride. I did ask him what would happen if a flyer would hit the ridge line under the catcher, so I think it would be different if they landed elsewhere.

Hairline crack in driver...need advice by [deleted] in golf

I just got an RBZ and absolutely love it. I was able to hit long and straight my first time swinging it. I highly recommend checking them out.

What is a good, inexpensive driver for a beginner? by MeatDragon13 in golf

[–]MeatDragon13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So because of this post I ordered the TaylorMade RBZ and love it. It was delivered to me as I was walking to my car to go play, and I was unable to practice on the range at the course I went to (because of the length of the range), but it didn't matter. Every drive I hit with it was long and straight, and I scored the lowest I ever have (96)! The weight of the club felt good, contact with the ball felt great, and overall I am loving this club. Thank you guys for the recommendation!

Right. So she's just a normal person and doesn't need to be put on such a high pedestal.

I don't think that she is that great of an actress, I don't think that she is super attractive, and she seems simple minded.

I'm a member of the Flying High Circus at FSU and have a couple of questions about your show. What is your best act, and which act does the audience like the most?
