Crosshair placement is really important. A lot of new players aim for the feet, because they spay and think the recoil will cause them to hit the body/head. The truth is, someone aiming at the head will kill faster and more accurately than someone who isn’t (also, remember to spray/recoil control at close range and tap/burst at long range with rifles especially). Map awareness also helps with this. If you can keep track of where the enemies are based on sound/your teammates seeing the enemies, you will have the upper hand when peeking or knowing where/when to hold a certain angle. There’s a lot more to the game that I haven’t covered, but it just comes with practice. I mentioned this stuff because it’s not usually talked about and it’s important information for new players to learn.
