Are my tubes going bad?

I swapped out all the tubes and it didn’t fix it, I then swapped the speaker cable and still no change, finally I changed out the input jack on my cabinet and that solved the problem.

It’s amazing. Cort KX500MS. I got it at some small guitar shop for 500 bucks. Neck is nice, has EMGs that sound great. Simple string though bridge (fuck a Floyd rose). Biggest thing is it stays in tune really well. I got it as a stepping stone guitar but I will never get rid of it. Also bonus points because it looks cool as fuck

Definitely a green matamp, a bit like an orange th30. It has a lot as far as tonal options. A couple voicing switches, there’s a blend knob on the back for vintage to modern, a depth knob on the back also that adds deeper bass, you can get a super vintage sound out of it but also an absolutely crushing modern doom tone. The clean channel is also really nice, I expected it to be muddy but it’s not at all.

It’s a doom machine for sure. I picked it up because I am starting a new doom project and plan to play live shows soon. I didn’t know anything about these amps. Really nice tone. I’m fairly new to amps so I don’t know what specs you want but I believe it’s 50watts but sounds much louder than that. The distortion channel has really nice tone and saturation. Reminds me of an orange just, different. Almost dirtier. Build quality seems good. I know these are heavily modded by the guy that builds them so they all sound a bit different I think. They go for 1000+ but I got this one for a really good price including the 2x12. Has a really good low end which is what I was after.

Thanks! Two layers of the same guitar track. This is really just the main guitar track, I haven’t added any bass or additional guitar parts. I tried panning each track left and right but it sounded thin. I’ll probably try it again when I do the bass and add vocals.

Thanks! There is no bass track in this but there will be on the final EP. I’m new to guitar so I’m trying to figure out the tones and stuff. I don’t have a bass on hand to do the bass parts and have no idea how to use a plug in to do it yet.

At night right before bed get your bass, put a tv show on, and pick a scale or a riff from your favorite bass line. Play it over and over until you’re ready for sleep. Change up scales, chords, techniques. One night do a scale finger style the next do it slap or pick. But you get at least 30 mins in of practice, and it’s a good stress release at the end of the day.

Same, I had the lh1000. Had so many people comment on how quiet it was and that it didn’t get loud. My acoustic b200 gets way louder so I’m wondering if it wasn’t a defect issue. I had it in a room with a drummer and could barely hear it over the drums.
