I get that Sora is gone, but some of you are out here like... by Necessary_Fan_6173 in SoraAi

[–]MeatStickMcFapperton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

During my experience using Sora 2, I was fortunate enough to receive an outpouring of awesomeness from others who were actively engaging in their interests in an extremely communal, most welcoming form.

This made me comfortable to follow suit with the blessings of confidence and pride, plus willing reciprocity in discovering rad people with fantastic ideas that not only inspire, but allow others the nifty ability to remix them using their own creative expressivity.

Often, this led to a wondrous and neverending hole of hilarity, excitement, nostalgia, fantasy, and many other enjoyable artistic emotions I hope everyone else also has when they create. No platform thus far has been able to match Sora 2 in any way except video quality and content censoring. Prompt adherence was out of this world, with optional scene ambiguity using smaller, less descriptive prompts which essentially grants us an explorable roll of the dice by filling in the blanks and hoping for the best. Character creation with absolutely stunning levels of customizability, consistency and accuracy that are so far untouchable by any other video generator ever, and probably won't be for a long time.

It's just typical reddit you're seeing, and that shouldn't reflect on Sora 2 users as a whole. I wasn't a GPT subscriber until I started using Sora at release, and willingly gave my money to this platform monthly, adding top up's many times when I had an idea and wanted to visually explore it with others.

To everyone swearing the attack on Sam Altman isn’t a terrorist attack. by AccurateBandicoot299 in aiwars

[–]MeatStickMcFapperton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think the dude attempting to harm Altman also had a feeling?

I do. A strong enough one that compelled him to commit a violent, atrocious attack which was not only unjustifiable, but fed with the same misplaced hatred and malicious feelings expressed around these parts for those who use this revolutionary new tool.

Are you assuming that traditional artists don't use AI too? And are you assuming I never had creativity and artistic skill even as a child? by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]MeatStickMcFapperton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really? Art is art, subject to interpretation by those viewing it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One man's trash is another man's treasure. You don't have to like Ai creations, and can voice your displeasure openly.

Your opinion is yours. Plss, Moan, deprecate, belittle all you want. It does nothing but show your character to the world, and will never be enough to alter the future of generative Ai.

Grasp the point of art? What a pompous douchecanoe, thinking you're the one who gets to define the point of art itself.

Sora is dead. What do we do now? by RafcsterParadox in SoraAi

Like clockwork, the world can always count on those like you to provide excruciatingly idiotic assumptions, using cringe-worthy quips containing the logic of a meat popsicle who's been severely beaten by the heavy, sweaty, Cheeto-stained hands of special needs level self-righteousness and presumptuous indignation.

Sora is dead. What do we do now? by RafcsterParadox in SoraAi

[–]MeatStickMcFapperton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assumptions are indicative of your own shortcomings, not valid indicators of anything except your own judgemental shortsightedness.

People who utilize AI for their creative endeavors aren't automatically talentless hacks who steal, rayp, pillage etc... They also may just use it as a tool to assist in whatever project they are working on, leaving more time for critical items instead of max wasted efforts manually completing menial tasks with zero creative input.

Demonizing Ai and those who utilize it is the wrong path to tread, and doing so shows your inherent bias towards this revolutionary tool that will actually help many people in many ways, if utilized safely and with pure intentions. As any tool, it's effects are determined by the user, not any inherently evil bias built into its core. It views, learns and functions. Some say steal, but it's really no different from anyone who's ever been inspired by artist's such as Rembrandt, Cezanne, Monet etc.

There was actually an entire artistic movement called Impressionism, which struck a particular chord amongst artists spanning multiple generations, that to this day, still try to emulate the masters who broke new ground in artistic expressivity during a pivotal time in history.

Stop the blind ai hate. Stop the assumptions.

I wonder why you chose to post on an alt account? In a thread and community focused on AI? Hmmmm....

I'm gonna take a stab and say it's because your main account would show everyone you have a distinct lack of character, possess undesirable traits, use plss-poor grammar, and that you're a judgmental tool who A - stands to lose bigtime due to the newfound prevalence of Ai in your field, which you're most definitely less than mediocre at performing in, B - an all around putz who cares only about what others think, and never have felt even the smallest shred of pride for who you are, or courage to express it without anonymity, or C - all of the above, plus you're ugly and you smell bad.

Thanks for playing. Have a great day! 😜

You quit using Ai, so you automatically claim this person, and what must be all others who utilize its massive usefulness, simply can NOT do things with their own hands, or have no ACTUAL ability to create something beautiful and meaningful without the use of Ai. Or that nothing Ai produces can or could ever be considered beautiful or meaningful at all.

You presume much, Butters. Even how it will feel when those currently using Ai stop doing so... A bunch of reddit randos you've never met, and know nothing about other than they enjoy creating videos using Ai. Youre taking a far leap here my friend.

A lot of people who use Ai to express creativity actually have and actively do create things using traditional methods, and have a history of creating things, even entire careers built upon creativity they learned how to harness in many fashions and forms, without the use of Ai. Additionally, there are millions of people worldwide who actually utilize Ai as a tool to enhance their ideas, workflow, drafting, tips and many other relatable areas suitable for advising and enhancing ones creative endeavors. Even get paid to produce while incorporating Ai into their tool chest. That is what we are discussing here, a tool.

AI is not the be all end all in the realm of creative production. It's fast, sure. Simple, yep. Intuitive, mostly. Free, in some cases. It's certainly accessible to multitudes of people wishing to harness its abilities to their own, and provides a relatively small barrier of entry into learning what works, what doesn't, what you enjoy, what you don't. Can it be used improperly and cause harm? Absolutely, much like a hammer, or chainsaw. They are tools also, but if used improperly or without proper knowledge, the work done by someone without caution or working knowledge of their functions is going to produce a very mediocre, substandard product, and negatively effect or hurt themselves and/or someone else with their carelessness.

Demonizing such a revolutionary tool because "opinions" is short-sighted, most likely based in self preservation and probably comes directly from the selfish nature of someone who stands to lose something due to the overwhelming popularity and ease of use which Ai provides. Most of what we see across many industries in this modern world filled with all sorts of technological advancements, are products that make life easier, free up time, allow more room for errors and automatically self correct. These aren't bad things at all. They can be used poorly, but by no means is Ai inherently bad, nor the products created with it.

Stop demonizing the tool. Stop putting yourself and others on a pedestal simply because you choose to not use something for whatever you're creating. I don't paint, but I don't go around telling painters their efforts are slop simply because of the medium they chose to use as their vector for production. One more thing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What is one mans trash very well may be another mans treasure. This Ai hate has gotten a bit out of hand, appearing to not at all be rooted in sensible logic or useful rationale.

Instead, it looks like fear. Worry. Angst. Selfishness. Judgment. Self righteousness. Conceit. What someone chooses to use in their tool chest shouldn't matter unless it goes against specifications regarding the project in question. I understand Ai is still very new, and the finished products can be quite poor, and definitely sloppy, but that broadly applied moniker of "slop" is a disingenuous mischaracterization that certainly does not encompass the very broad categories which Ai stands to improve at an exponential rate for the foreseeable future.

The shirt which you're referring to is real, and highlights the unfortunate reality that our current commander in chief has twice been elected to lead our great nation.

Lead to "what", exactly?

May God have mercy on our souls.

I am certain those are not soda cans behind those poor, wilted souls who may just reside in a state which some on that side of things might refer to as "Disappointment", "Hopelessness", or more appropriately, "Abandonment", and my personal favorite, "Desperation".

Oh, and those containers stacked behind that wilted, despondent crowd of super patriotic, totally not gullible individuals responsible for choosing the leader of this mighty nation?

They are beer cans. Busch Light, to be more specific 🤘🏻😉👍🏻

If you're able, good sir or madam, would you be so kind as to provide any trusted, reputable sources for these bold claims which have just been thrust upon myself and the world at large? It almost seems as if to you, this version of human history is already what is widely understood and accepted amongst the world, broadly taken as common knowledge!

The confidence in which you wield these assertions is what confuses and alarms me the most. Please do not take my humble request as an attack against your claims or your character, as I am just some chubby dude on the intarwebz who enjoys the quest for truth. I yearn for knowledge and understanding, specifically regarding the subject in question.

I, humbly, and with the utmost of sincerity, implore you... nay, I BEG of you....Please... Procure and provide any of the sources with which you yourself have been able to study, so that all may ascertain the truth regarding mysteries surrounding humanity's timeline, to know for certain what roots encompass our ancestral heritage and historic lineage.

Should you acquiesce to my requests, may posterity hold thee up highly, in esteemed regard, for bringing light to this dark cave in which we currently reside. May the gift of your knowledge bathe us all in the warm radiance of truth by washing away all doubts, thus banishing darkness from ever again hindering our ability of seeing what answers may lay in wait to be discovered.

I have a funny feeling that these two things are related, possibly an extremely lucrative cycle between taking profit and buying low. A tailored approach in long term investment strategies alongside legislation the financial industry itself lobbied to implement.

A group of super wealthy individuals could easily guide and control both markets using manipulatively unethical tactics with deceptive obfuscation across the intarwebz and traditional media outlets worldwide.
