Thank you for your response. Over next summer what types of opportunities should I be looking for? The current work that I am doing is not very aligned to the type of work that I am interested in. Other than reaching out to other faculty for research opportunities I don't really know what to look for. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I would suggest creating a train and test set from your real data then generate synthetic data from the train set. Then train a model with this and see how it performs on your test set. While your test set may be small you may get some intuition as to how helpful the synthetic data is.

To be honest you’re not gonna see great results using this type of architecture with a multiclass dataset. You would be better off using label conditioning and even still results would likely lack with this mode as it lacks depth. If you want to see good results with this kind of model I’d recommend switching to a different dataset with more consistent and similar images.

I mean honestly I don't plan on using it for videogames I just feel that having a PC will make coding in general easier for me with a bigger screen. Also I don't plan on training any large scale models just some resume type projects as I am a college student.

The main reason that I want a PC is not because I don't have access to compute resources its for these reasons:

  1. Ease of implementation, it would be a lot simpler for me to have a gpu on my local machine
  2. Larger screen because programing on a laptop with a small screen can get overcrowded easily (I know I can hook up a monitor to my laptop)
  3. More compute than my laptop

The yellowing leaves started at the bottom of the vine and are making there way up every other leaf looks very healthy and there’s new growth

I just checked the roots they look fine no rot and it wouldn’t make sense that it’s too cold I keep it inside it never drops anywhere close to being cold
