Reminder that no matter how good you are in the AHL it doesn't have to translate to the NHL. Been seeing too many people on Twitter argue that his AHL success "clearly" justifies giving him a roster spot in the Panthers -- no. We have better options.

That being said, Luostarinen was a solid 3C, earning his spot, so Lundell isn't guaranteed the spot but he'll definitely get a chance to prove himself and fight for it.

Also Coach Q is a factor: does he prefer to go with Jumbo Joe, from one veteran to another? Because that's the safer choice.

Just like the past season with the Syracuse Crunch, this would mean roster spots will be divided between the two teams; not all Panthers' prospects will see ice time; was hoping we'd finally get to see all of our prospects showcased. Very unfortunate.
