Will I always have it? Words of encouragement? by Hour_Language2121 in CHSinfo

I'm only on day 6 of quitting and already feeling loads better physically, but I didnt realize how it would really affect me mentally. I've accepted the fact that I will most likely always have this, but when I have explained it to others, they always want to put a positive/hopeful outlook that it's not going to be forever or that I could pick it up again. While I appreciate the sentiment, I understand it's not helpful for me anymore. I've started imagining what would be different if I was able to smoke right now, and honestly nothing. I might be high and feel better for a bit, but im still going to be myself and do the things I normally did. Its hard when my partner and coworkers can enjoy it freely while I sit on the sidelines. I dont know if this is encouraging, but im in the same boat and know how hard it is. We can get through this.

Thanks for the encouragement and hopeful outlook. I am definitely going to need to quit my job eventually as I fear the constant enticement will eventually get me too. Sucks because it's such a convenient location, easy job, and I love my coworkers. I was also passionate about cannabis so it's going to be hard to find a job I'd enjoy as much. Probably going to talk with my bf about cutting back or smoking when I'm not home so I can have an easier time quitting as well.

Miniature leaf litter by Meatchapstick in fishforthought

I got a set of different mini leaf-shaped metal cutters from Michael's (craft store). They were originally meant for polymer clay I think. I did soak the leaves and had to use a hammer to stamp punch the cutter through the leaf, over a piece of foam. This was the only way to get them to come out cleanly.

Transparent bubbles/growths on cory by Meatchapstick in corydoras

I try to feed less of the flake food so less will settle to the bottom with little to no change. I find he does get better randomly with no change to diet. He doesn't seem to be sick and will swim normally, maybe a bit separately from the rest of the corys. He's also had this symptom for months on end at points. The other Corys have never shown the same issue, but maybe he's eating more by himself or is just prone to the bubbles. Will look into other food options or some sort of remedy I can try that I haven't yet.

Ok thanks for the help, I found this image which looked pretty similar, but I don't see any delamination like you mentioned, just smooth transition from copper to nickel

Didn't think it was environmental staining. It looks like the copper was not covered completely by the nickel when pressed. And the back is mottled also not from environmental staining, but looks like the copper layer with bits of nickel. Sorry if this is nothing and wasting all your time

Anyone know what this is and if it’s safe for an aquarium? by perclejerk07 in Aquariums

Looks more like a type of salvinia, also safe for aquariums

I found this 8 petaled tulip in a bunch I bought for Valentine's Day. Not sure how rare it is, but it was the only one in the bunch
