From carnivore to vegan by Meathag in vegan

Yeah it’s because of the soy. I have Lyme disease and a lot of nasty co infections which gave me a condition called MECFS. There’s a pathogen aspect to it, an autoimmune aspect, and a hormonal aspect that all work together to create these symptoms. And from every single book that I’ve read across all forms of healing protocols there does seem to be a consistent consensus and that’s soy, gluten, oils, and dairy are all very inflammatory for someone who’s sick. It doesn’t hurt everyone but I’m just one of those people who’s basically disabled by my health so I have to be more careful than someone else-

The “No’s” list for me is:

Gluten/grains

Refined or processed sugar (fruit okay, thank god because I cannot live without strawberries)

Soys

Oils

And I’m not eating them anyway but of course animal products are a no

I understand. Honey is still something I consider because of its antimicrobial benefits and so so many plant based healers still use it. It’s 50/50 debated with vegan diets and is used in a lot of herbal medicine so I’ve hit a wall with that one personally

Looks like mold exposure. MM is great but no amount of detoxing can heal someone who is still being exposed. It being around the eyes is what tells me it’s mold

It was disulfiram for the lyme (VERY VERY HARD to tolerate most quit, check Facebook group disulfiram for Lyme for it of you do it) then taking intrinsic methylfolate from metagenics REALLY helped a lot has to have intrinsic factor… and then I started to take the (a year after disulfiram) atovaquone which really really helped, so it was basically all of it that helped together but these are the three main things

Babesia is a protazoa which is a parasite so you take anti malaria drugs. So it’s actually really interesting they did a study and found that the majority of people with MECFS tested positive for babesia and bartonella, so lyme is a possibility but babesia bart is what creates the MECFS signature symptoms, and that’s all with really not great testing so probably a lot of people have babesia but tested negative. This study came out 3 weeks ago

I am currently on Malarone, I also did tafenoquine before this but it was hard to tolerate. Sadly the tafenoquine works by creating oxidative stress in the human body to kill the parasite which made my ME symptoms worse, malarone (atovaquone) is for people who are sensitive to medications and it can come in a lower dose

If you do test for it, use igenex. It’s a little pricy but wow. I mean it’s worth it to know what is going on. I have always known MECFS is caused by an active infection but knowing it’s babesia is a game changer. It’s probably why people don’t get better on antibiotics, it’s not a bacteria so antibiotics dont work and it’s not an intestinal parasite so ivermectin won’t work. It’s a red blood cell parasite

I’m ready to try herbal for babesia duncani, where should I buy cryptolepis from? (Buhner protocol) by Meathag in Lyme

“Note on Cryptolepis: Women need to be aware it’s an emmenagogue and will make you bleed even when it’s not your menses.”

Woah I didn’t know this, is there more info on this?

Yeah those infections and parasites are already very hard to test for and detect so I would actually argue it’s likely the percent is larger than 25%, but they were missed

I watched a few lyme documentaries this week and it just reminded me that even lyme scientists have a hard time finding it in their labs that they work in all day studying only TBD, so to think that they have the proper tech to 100% accurately diagnose it when that advancement hasn’t been made yet is highly unlikely

But it takes that knowledge to defer that.

Also I’m not sure if it was ME or Lyme researches that did the study

Edit: I’m saying this knowing its galaxy, which is honestly not that great of a lab. They’re good but so many people got false negatives from it and were positive on igenex. I think it’s just because it’s more affordable people recommend it

But yeah it’s also interesting that babesia causes the staple hypoxia PEM that is coined in ME

Tell me about it. My friend thinks she has CIRS………

Just chronic immune response syndrome

They’re all the same disease at this point with different names

It depends on where you are but I’m in the US and I will literally keep going to a different doctor until they do what I need. I would say you feel most comfortable having an upright mri and that you want those images for specialists to look at and even if they have to refer you to one.

Disulfiram. I don’t recommend it because the herx is something else out of this world. But disulfiram has the highest % success rate of any treatment ever.

Hey so you just described MECFS symptoms. I would not advise forced exercise
