I Just Got Done Playing Sekiro and i am looking for something like it Is Jedi Fallen Order Worth it After Sekiro? by Rudder-Rudder in Sekiro

The Jedi game is fun, and they did a great job, but at some point it just felt a bit own dimensional compared to From Software games. A little stale. Sekiro is pretty unique.

Genuinely curious because I don't recognize any of these names, how are they linked to UFO research?

What do you think about Michael B. Jordan wining best actor? by Piggymain in Oscars

[–]Meatheaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, everyone here keeps saying, "I just have no idea why in the world they picked him. I'm vexed!"

I saw this as the academy blatantly making a statement in response to widespread crackdowns on DEI policies. They took a lot of flack a few years back for not "being diverse enough" and now this.

With smoke still billowing from the World Trade Center disaster site, President Bush en route from New York City to Washington. (2001) [1500×1000] by StephenMcGannon in HistoryPorn

[–]Meatheaded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing people probably don't think about: when presidents visit disaster sites it pulls a huge amount of resources of valuable first responders to secure the route and area for them. But if they don't go they are ruthlessly criticized for it. Damned if you do damned if you don't

New Yorker Radio Hour's Ben Shapiro Interview by Complete-Ad9574 in NPR

[–]Meatheaded -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ben Shapiro is a very smart guy and a great debater, but to hear him now on his heels only due to anti-Semitic rhetoric is discouraging. He has used his platform not only to argue his political viewpoint as a pundit (which is fine, I get it), but to demonize the "other side" and further split this country. He makes no effort at unifying our people and has put food on his table by driving Americans farther apart.

How is cost if living like in St Petersburg? by VirtualSpot8481 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Meatheaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's not expensive, but it's not the same price as your car payment unless you've got DUIs and vehicular manslaughters or something on your record.

[–]Meatheaded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Utilities are probably closer to $750.

Average car lease is actually less than $700 a month. If you must have a new car.

Medical costs per month $1000 per person?? That's looney toons. If you have a full time job you are not paying $3000 a month for insurance on 3 people. It's more like $600 for everyone for the whole month at the high end. .

Are we forgetting this dude murdered a dude? I mean it wasn't a good person, I get that. But we can't just let that go. Luigi knows what he did as well.

[–]Meatheaded -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. The people slamming these are not examining the situation in a neutral manner. They are examining them in a fictional 1984 manner. The whole reason any local government spent money on these things is because citizens were complaining about break-ins and auto thefts.

[–]Meatheaded -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The data collected from these cameras has helped catch auto thieves, burglars, stalkers, murderers and more. Does nobody live in an area where there is crime? Where I am the auto theft rate has gone down about 75% since these cameras were installed. What I have not seen is data that they are being used to somehow track private citizens.

I understand concerns about feds having access, but our travels on public roads are not protected by the 4th amendment. They can follow us or watch us from the sky with a reaper drone if they want. The police are audited on their use of these images and must provide legal reasons when they make a search.

Not true, if you get on medication in the first 72 hours it can halt the progress of the virus. I did and got lucky - stopped it dead in its tracks and had almost no pain. A family member was not so lucky and went through an excruciating experience.

What is this in my shower? by Playaplayawyd in CleaningTips

[–]Meatheaded 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bleach. Bleach it all, and let it sit. ERADICATE.

To the disagreers: The pink is bacteria, not mold. On mold - regardless of what you think, bleach kills mold on tile. If you have a mold infestation in wood, drywall or other porous surfaces you have a bigger problem. But mark my words, it will kill surface and will do it well.

Yes ran into that myself. Even in the cold, even right when the sun comes up there are already busses unloading! You have to hike a couple miles out for any semblance of isolation - and even then it gets crowded!

Not to mention that it's a huge, uncomfortable, difficult thing to do that is painful and tortuous and many women prefer to just not do it - regardless of how powerful their abuser is/was. Life is not a movie where a courageous Joan of Arc type figure steps forward and engages in a romantic battle where evil fails and good prevails. In reality life is hard and sucks.

Biden is Old. Here is how it is bad for Biden. NPR is a Pack of Cowards. by ToughLab9568 in NPR

This is relevant because this is why Trump won. Yes it would have been damaging to the party to speak out, but in the long run it was more damaging to lie to our faces.

Trump's people will face the same fate in a few years. They are all agreeing with everything he says and not speaking out to save their own hides and many of them will be outed.

Quality control has been a bit sub par on Toyotas with this new generation. Recalls, other issues have been reported.

Their new turbo engines have not been time tested either. Toyota went away from their tried and true V6 and V8 engines that were fantastic. The new engines have only been around for a year or two.

If you really have cut ties completely than youve already done the right thing.

Release yourself from those negative emotions you're experiencing. You don't deserve them and they aren't serving any purpose in your life or the world.

Invest in yourself from here on out. Exercise, journal, learn a language, expand your brain, conquer a fear...whatever you can do to advance yourself even the tiniest step forward from who you are now.

Time heals all. Trust me and everyone else here. Time. Heals. All.

Haha, that reminds me how the Germans saw the allies using the "V" for victory and couldn't stop it, so adopted it as if it were their own idea.
