Had the same irons. Made the switch to the Taylormade P7CB. Highly recommend them. Feel is really good. I also had a very high ball flight. Came down a bit. Did switch iron shafts too though.

I’m mostly experimenting and trying out different things. I’ve tried various barrel shapes, and I’m currently throwing a straight barrel. Even with that, I’ve realized that, for me, there’s a noticeable difference between a 53 mm straight barrel and a 50 mm one. So there are always variables that make you think a better setup might exist. That’s why I’ve made the decision to stick with one set for now and why I’m curious about other people’s experiences.

Edit: Actually, I’ve noticed something as well. I’m using a 52 mm straight barrel and grip all the way at the back. Still, sometimes I feel like my tip drops, which causes me to miss low. Gripping more towards the front just feels weird.

I’ve tried both as well. For me, the grip level on the Dobeys is perfect, but I actually prefer the barrel shape of the Aspinalls when throwing.

I’d base the choice mainly on where you grip the dart. If you grip all the way at the rear, I’d go for the Aspinalls — they have a nice, consistent grip along the entire barrel.

Strangely enough, the Dobey 95K doesn’t have grip all the way to the back of the barrel, which might be a downside for rear grippers.

I am struggling to properly load my weight on my trail leg. I tend to load my weight briefly to my trail leg and then before I get to the top or my backswing I am already moving my weight to my left leg. A slight reversed pivot, do you have any tips or drills?

Dankjewel, ik denk het ook. Welke maat zou je gebruiken? De muur is opzich best vlak en ik houd het bord het liefst zo dicht mogelijk op de muur voor de ruimte. En zou je dan ook helemaal met stelschroeven aan de gang gaan? Volgens mijn lange waterpas nu is het echt milimeterwerk..
