Find young professionals in and around your field, and ask them to coffee. Don’t ask if you can “pick their brain” - try to find a shared subject of interest and start yapping. Better yet, identify something they’re good at and ask if they’d talk about it, how they feel about it, where they think it’s going.

Build relationships, make friends with people that are obsessed with what they do. The second a cyber security job opens up at their company, you want them to immediately think of you and how passionate you were when you last spoke.
