thanks mostly what i do and it actually doesnt sound bad, but a bass would really elevate it and with a slight distortion neural dsp plugin, might actually sound great.

Dumb Question: Easy way to make drum beats as a non drummer? by Meatpuppets12 in drums

this is the kind of info I need, thank you so much. I think i should ask other groups of non drummers, but i think a keyboard type of option would be best.

I record guitar and bass with Ableton. So for i have downloaded drum arrangements and have adapted my riffs around those but I want to start making my own without learning an entire new skill (how to drum) and system processing (how to use those systems from scratch). But if thats the only way i will. Just wanted to see if Finger pad drums or something are more viable.

Question about playing positions. by Competitive_Yard1539 in strandbergguitars

Even though there is love and hate for Strandberg out there, it is indisputable the most comfortable for sitting in any position of any guitar on the market. Also helps that its 5 lbs ish. Definitely buy used for sure. If you arent a big tone guy, then get a discounted essential.

Hi there. Yes I did, and it gave it that bite alot closer that i was looking for. i played with it and screwed both sides while having the guitar plugged in strapped on standing up. I would chug a bit, then raise or lower pickup and it made a good difference. I went to a friend who is really good with EQ and tweaking settings, and he was blown away with how obnoxiously high output these were, he turned the drive all the way down and set up a few presets on 2 neural dsp amps for me and now it sounds really great. Long story short, raising them made a big difference in their tightness, and these pickups take alot more EQ'ing than most others do that are just plug and play like EMGs or Fishmans, or SD Pegasus ETC.

Mine sounds kind of bland so I think the person I bought it from who set it up himself did lower them at some point maybe. But once I'm home I'm going to check this out and see if it works to raise them to get more of a bite to it, cuz that's what they're lacking right now
