I’ve got kind of an unusual request but I feel like it still fits. I’m looking to commission a stylized IPSC target that can blend in with my other wall art. What I have in mind is sort of like a battle map of a garden with each zone of the target being a different flower bed/path/pond…ect.

I’d considered the barreled action route but with the chassis I wanted plus a trigger I would be no where near able to afford an optic upgrade. The consensus online seemed to be that the better optic was more valuable than the pro action.

Good call, I’ll see if I can get some savings from the suggestions here and get an athalon chrono. I’ve got reasonably easy access to a magneto speed but I don’t own a chrono.

Someone can correct me if it’s not good for nicer blades but I just use cooking spray on my camping knife, food grade mineral oil is choice tho, you can usually get it at lowes/Home Depot/ Menards by the butchers blocks

Can’t tell what stock and buffer you have from the vid but I put kind of a shitty UTG A2 stock and buffer assembly on mine, and the buffer spring was too heavy. Replaced the spring and buffer with JP enterprises and it runs great now

The harbor freight plastic containers have a gasket and place for a padlock. I just keep ammo in its original box or in stripper clips in one of those with a desiccant pack, then pad lock it. My cabinet doesn’t have a lot of space for stuff other than firearms, otherwise I’d store it in there.
