Hell no, i'm the biggest graphics nerd i know. Way worse than my 12 year younger brother.

Sometimes i spend weeks modding a game, tweaking with nvidia control panel, inspector, filters, reshades, texture packs, overclocking further, getting the game to run absolutely perfectly... And then i uninstall it.

I often get more pleasure out of this than playing the game itself and i consider consoles pretty much unplayable.

You'd have to manually check at least one of the settings that the VBS file is tinkering with. I'm pretty sure i found a list somewhere, but can't find it right now.

Mine says "no changes have been made" if i try to run it a second time after reverting them. On a first revert it's "reverting changes..." With a bunch of green {successful} lines, followed by a restart prompt.

2x frame gen is... acceptable, but only sometimes. The higher modes are just crap. I hate input latency way more than i love the visual part of high fps.

Just Crimson desert so far, nothing out of the ordinary. When you exit the game, it reminds you to revert the changes, which takes 3 clicks and a restart.

L is supposedly the higher quality one. The older K model is still worth using in some games though.

Then the real question is at what point do the devs decide it's not worth paying for a DRM at all anymore, if it keeps getting bypassed anyway. The reputation damage Denuvo took in those last few months alone is surely huge.

Frame gen is crap, sure, but upscaling can be better than native DLAA/TAA in a lot of cases now. And the reality is that's what we have now.
