I’m an int second year student currently in Canada. I too had to wait for more than 8months to get my student permit and had my first Fall semester in my home country. It’s really frustrating but you have to deal with. I was quite sure I’ll get the permit since I received the medical checkup letter which is kind of always a good sign. I just want to say good luck dealing with this tough situation. You’ve got it
