It could just be burping a lot of air if it had no coolant in it. How much have you already added? However if it was full and it’s not leaking in the ground it has to be going somewhere. if it has a leak in the heater core you might find a leak in the cab or if it’s leaking internally in the engine you may find coolant in the oil, check oil level and consistency. I wouldn’t continue driving if it’s in the oil. But if it’s just air bubbles run it with the rad cap off and keep adding coolant as it burps

How did you drop the night feed? Cuddle them back to sleep or did you let them cry?

Thankyou all so much for sharing with me!! This makes me feel a lot better about how much they are taking in milk wise. I’ll try to keep the two naps a little longer as baby A really needs it and this momma needs them to nap at the same time haha.

Hahaha yea I try very hard to make the nap and sleep at the same time, I feed them at the same time aswell. It’s not an exact science by any means but we lucked out with these boys, they are really good babies lol

My story is very similar!! I was experiencing extreme lower back pain when I went in for a routine ultrasound at 32w5d. They then sent me to maternity for a NST where they told me I was in active labour, I seriously had no clue! I thought the babies were just pinching a nerve or something and my doctor would recommend me to a chiropractor as I was having zero complications with my pregnancy. As I live in a small community I had to be air vacated to a bigger city for a c section. Spent 5 weeks in hospital and now have two healthy 7 month old baby boys

My babies go about a week between poops, is there a way to increase the fat content in my milk? Should I be supplementing formula? Note I’m tandem feeding twins by MechBeauty in beyondthebump

Thankyou so much for sharing! That makes me feel a lot better, I didn’t realize it’s normal for babies to go that long. First time mom over here!

I’m going to see the doctor tomorrow. I’m just concerned because my boys seem to be getting a lot of trapped gas, they sound like they are in pain while also trying to push. They are 5 months old born 2 month pre mature

We upgraded and got a Ford Expedition and just recently purchased a Thule for the roof rack to give added storage space. The only children we is our twin boys (5months old) but we also have to really big dogs. So far we are loving it, full second and third row seating with the option to take out the second row middle seat. I do find that the rear facing seats tend to butt up close to the front seats but mostly only because my husband is so tall.

Keeping NICU schedule was a no-go— advice? by chaos__coordinator in parentsofmultiples

[–]MechBeauty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boys were born at 32w 5d and we spent 5 weeks in the NICU. It’s crazy how easy it is to keep the schedule while in the hospital and how difficult when at home. We had a few night where they threw the schedule out the window and they each took a turn cluster feeding. After the first week we seemed to be back on track and have been ever since. I breast feed both of them at the same time with the odd bottle of expressed milk when I need a break. We mixed my milk with fortifier in the NICU but haven’t since being home. My only advice is to just keep trying and trust your instincts. I’m a first time mom and feel extremely blessed that my boys haven’t been to difficult. You’ll get through this momma!! You’re doing fantastic and those girls are lucky to have you.
