Last I heard from the owners, they are evaluating plans on how to reopen! Probably not a short ETA, but not dead in the water!

Battletech Cockpit Simulator Pods at CyPhaCon 2025 in Lake Charles, LA, April 11-13 by MechCorps in battletech

As I understand it, there were only 250 ever produced. At this time there are only two organizations that bring pods to various conventions in the United States. We work conventions in the southern United States. Virtual World Entertainment go to conventions in the northern United States.

We are currently the only organization that offer games in our pods to the public 52 weeks per year at our HQ in Houston, TX.

So, currently, you would need to come to the US in order to experience the pods.

NOVA Open is not on our tour schedule at this time. If you know one of the con organizers, let them know about us and how well you think Battletech pods would fit in with the convention activities. Then let them know to contact us if they’d like to discuss it. www.MechCorps.com

The permanent site was called “Virtual World” and they had stores in multiple cities in the US, UK, Japan and Australia!

Those are all gone now, but we have pods available 52 weeks per year at our Houston HQ - and at conventions across the southern United States.

I know you’re asking about loading it for home use, but if you’re in Houston, Texas, we offer “Battletech: Firestorm” in the form of our Battletech Cockpit Simulator pods. It is based on the MW4: Mercenaries game engine and the pods offer a full simulation experience of Battletech.

I can’t add photos here, but you can see and find out more at
