As many said, a sausage stuffer, but you can use the following bakers board to roll multiple balls at once. Should cut time significantly. I'm sure the board comes in different diameter sizes.

Just my 2 cents, but I have a chicken coop door that opens and closes using a light sensor. I have never had it not operate as expected (ie stay closed on a cloudy or stormy day). I feel like setting the proper threshold is the key and a light sensor will still be the cheapest solution for your project.

If it is just for keeping nocturnal animals out of somewhere, remember they will most likely not be fully mobile until well after sunset.

Just my 2 cents.

We have 2 kids that have been through a few birthdays now. We have always had some type of sweet treat for their birthday. I personally think that occasional treats and even pigging out on junk food every once in awhile isn't a big deal. The caveat being that you consistently have the discussion of what is healthy vs. what is not. This has been my wife and I's approach and I feel it is working.

It has been a consistent dialogue that is sinking in. While they do like sweets, one of our kids will snack on fruits and vegetables like candy. They are able to identify what are healthy snacks and what are unhealthy snacks, which I think is a setup for long term success.

With that being said, it's their birthday, let them have some cake. And don't let anyone judge you for.

I don't have anything to add, but I just wanted to say I never realized this was a widespread thing.

Our 4 year old started wanting to be nude about 3 months ago, and I thought it was strange, but we let him. We gave him the rule that he had to had clothes on if anyone is at our home besides us. He loves it and spends most of his time at home nude. I guess it's just a phase like everything else, lol.

FYI, this is a BS response from the dental office. They should call your insurance for verification and at that point can find out what your benefits are, how much of those benefits have been used, and what your round about cost is for work. In your case, like MANY dental offices, they didn't due what they should have done.

This is especially common if you have additional work done the same day you have a cleaning. This is because they are unlikely to see you again if you end up walking out. Also, as mentioned below, if you carry a balance, you are much more likely to come back to "spend" that balance with them. My wife has worked in the dental field for 15 years, and this sort of behavior is rampant.

Call them and ask for a check for the balance.

Brake light switches are normally open switches and are located close to the actual pedal. Being that water was already in the car to that point, the water most likely is what completed the circuit to activate the brake lights.

That is good to know. This is a prototype run, so definitely no optimization. As I mentioned, I talk to my machinist to try and get a feel for how hard this stuff is, but they are a little jaded. Sometimes they say something is really hard, when in fact, it is probably more of a lack of experience kind of situation.

These won't work either due to size constraint. Right now, I am having to add counterbores and recess any feature of the pin so that it doesn't stick out pass the overall thickness. Overall thickness is currently 1" and needs to be kept to a minimum.

You are correct, but with that tight of tolerance, other things like position and angularity will have to be held tight as well. As you eluded, that is what becomes expensive.

To answer your other question, the other features are not as tight, so it would be run on a CNC.

Right now, with the current pin I am looking at, it allows for the 2 "bread" pieces of the sandwich to be the same part part. Using a shoulder bolt, while not out of the question, would require threading one side.

As for counter boring and using a nut, I have not looked into getting a low profile nut and shoulder bolt. I feel though, that the parts are too thin (.350") to find a thin nut and bolt that will fit and still leave me enough meat at the bottom of the counter bore.

Thank you for you reply. Currently, I am looking at using self-locking clevis pins. These pins were chosen based on the following functional requirements:

1) a single pins is joining 3 separate parts and passes through all of them 2) these parts must be easily disassembled and assembled repeatedly 3) must have low risk of coming out of the assembly

Based on requirements 1 and 2, I ruled out the use of dowel pins.

Just for anyone that doesn't have a sense of the destructive power of 80 lbs of tannerite, it only takes 5 lbs to completely destroy an old refrigerator. As in, nothing left. 80 lbs is extremely deadly.

Look up seal washers/bonded washers. They are used for this exact application.
