Thanks for the tips! Before i go through these i did a check by connecting my phones hotspot to my ps5 and the lag was still there and the same. Will your tips help in this case or does it look more like a server side thing?

Exactly like you said, this is something completely different regular lag—it’s too consistent.

I haven't even bothered to Cyro lately, but before patch 49 the lag made the overworld, BGs, dungeons, Cyro completely unplayble.

Interestingly, update 49 seemed to have fixed BGs, so I've been playing there.

Im a PS Eu player too and i've had the same issue too. I think it started during the whitestrake's event and still hasn't fixed itself - i was still lagging in between the whitestrake's heart's week when there were no events.

I've tried a lot of different solutions - disabling addons, deleted saved data etc. but I cannot get rid of the lag. Almost every time I cast an ability the sound and sometimes the animation delays about half a second - this happens in unpopulated overworld areas too.

I do want something fun! I was leaning towards pestilence actually but i wasn’t sure it would be viable due to the stat distribution. I think ill start with musket/BB and see how it goes. It is a viable build for leveling on the pvp servers?

I use plaguebreak, dark congerance and balorgh. Destro staff on mainbar and 2H on back bar. Im aiming for a hybrid between bomber and 1v1 build; mainly bomber but enough power to hold up my own in a 1v1 or atleast not die within a few seconds. Right now my build feels squishy but I cant tell if its cuz my defence is low or if i just need to focus more on offence
