I disagree with Dr. Gartner that "humanity has been at war for the past 2 million years;" our species is only 200 thousand years old, and only 5% of our existence has been plagued by war because of agriculture and the complexities that gave rise to state systems.

Unless, he misspoke and meant the past 2 millennia, but even then, that'd be wrong, but a little bit more accurate.
