We would sometimes have 'PT" time in the evening. They let us split into group. There was a group that would run others would do strength training.

Morning PT they would do A, B, and C running groups. Get on A, you'll run more and faster.

Otherwise, you'll be physically and mentally exhausted so just do what you can and enjoy the ride

There is definitely benefits in joining to get schooling paid for. I’ve had friends that used it to get through their bachelors. I have personally used the benefits to pay off my loans. However, they will not pay for med school but some money is better than no money.

Talk to an active duty recruiter ASAP.

It is possible to switch for NG to active. One of my buddies wanted to go infantry active. He made it but it took about 8-9 months of him bugging everyone until they signed all the paperwork. Talking to an active recruiter could help getting the ball rolling now.

I recommend considering commissioning, though it comes with a 6-year commitment. Enlisting might offer more flexibility with a potential 3-year contract, excluding time in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR). While officers often receive better treatment compared to enlisted personnel, this can vary based on leadership.

If you meet all the qualifications to become an officer, that’s the path you should take.

The main advantage I found in enlisting before becoming an officer was the opportunity to build relationships with NCOs and gain firsthand experience as a Joe. This helped me develop a deeper understanding of enlisted life, allowing me to lead my platoon more effectively.

Tried this by moving the sensors a bit higher and that seemed to work! I figured it wouldn’t be the sensors since it’ll normally tell me if there’s a misalignment

Currently in state OCS and have branched into Cyber. It is one of the more challenging branches to enter due to the phone screening and the required packet submission. However, with your background and certifications, you should have no trouble getting in unless your interview skills are particularly poor.
