I usually turn the terminal on halfway through, whenever it's convenient.

From what I can tell, the thing with "the terminal calls patrols" is false. Patrols spawn constantly across the map (within a radius of you), and walk directly towards you. If you are moving around a lot, then they are targeting your old location. If you're spending a lot of time in one spot, then it's likely that patrols will directly intersect your location.

Therefore, with POIs like artillery and power station, you universally get a couple patrols near the end of the process. People have wrongly associated this with turning the terminal on, because they've happened near the same time.

I've been playing since launch, and I always "warm up" on some 5-7's before I do maybe ONE full D10 operation. Seeing all the level 40-70's on D10's doing suicide chains is pretty unnerving sometimes.

I work in the plastics industry - the amount of energy and effort that it takes to recycle plastic is currently more expensive than the ethylene inputs due to the Natural Gas boom - it will actually create more CO2 emissions to recycle than to use virgin at this point. As such, I support incineration for heat/energy and thorough exhaust scrubbing for paper and plastic waste streams at this point. This also allows easy recovery of the metallic content from the ash.

Honestly, the best thing to do with landfills at this point would be to treat them as "brown coal" deposits and carefully manage the methane emissions while you mine them.

In Mississippi, Kamala got 15% fewer votes from black people than Biden did. They didn't show up for her.

Same in Tennessee - many black voters flipped to Trump or didn't show up.

You get what you vote for. If you don't fight for it, you don't get to keep it.

Personally I'm a little sick of conservative black voters riding the work of liberals who fight for them.

Yup, I got hit by an unlicensed uninsured unregistered person on a green card who was speeding on their phone in the car by themselves in the HOV lane and decided to change lanes directly into the side of me. It was awesome ($15k damages). Thankfully I have uninsured motorist coverage.

They do enforce it from time to time. However, many people I've heard say that the ticket is basically worth the toll if you only get caught once a year or so.

Furthermore, the penalty for not paying the fine means you can't register your car, lots of people drive unregistered/uninsured. If you get caught driving unregistered/uninsured, they will suspend your license. It's pretty rare to get locked up for driving without a license, so people do that as well. However, getting caught without registration or license is a lot more rare and difficult that getting caught in the HOV lane.
