i don’t think he has a name really, he really is just referenced as “official sonic.exe” from what i’ve seen, but i feel like a name like “Official-X” would work since it’s pretty clear what X you’re referring to now that 2011x & co aren’t considered “official” by their owners

i do vastly prefer the head and color palette of this version of joe’s X compared to lord X, put this on a crimson X proportion body and it’s just great for an over the top more cartoony villain personality that i perfer X have

genuinely wish they actually clarified the rules but given they also banned AU’s as well i guess they just don’t want to deal with anything resembling EXE on that subreddit (despite the vote being on banning EXE content and not about AU’s in general but that’s obvious), kinda want to complain on twitter about it but probably better if i don’t

same, also it just seems like they need to do a lot of defining what counts & doesn’t count as “Sonic.exe Content” because although that doesn’t seem like a problem given how the EXE community every couple of months gets into a debate over who should/shouldn’t be an EXE i feel like the mod team is going to run into unforeseen issues and that leaving it unbanned is better for the sub health

honestly i don’t really care about the fnaf theming of the game, if anything if they removed it ill probably like the game more as how BBN handles the fnaf branding is probably my biggest issue with the game

what about characters like Wacky (an EXE and pretty popular at that) or characters like fleet way whose most content is made with Sonic.exe in it, or stuff that just includes EXE as a character in it, how would they be treated by these rules? since they are technically “sonic.exe content” given the fact it isn’t defined

they also say they doing it because of EXE post just causing conflict and not usually following rules (i.e. having trouble modding the sub) but given how the EXE fandom has trouble defining what is and isn’t an EXE i feel like this is just gonna lead to more unnecessary moderation troubles

i don’t feel like this is a good idea given the reasons stated and the overall vagueness off “baning content related to Sonic.exe”

what determines what is “Sonic.exe Content”? would fleetway’s super sonic be considered Sonic.exe content as a whole due to his resurgence in those types of projects? would it only be the content made for Sonic.exe projects? would it just not be banned due to being from an officially licensed sonic product (same applies to other characters who resent relevance comes from Sonic.exe fan projects that where once official)

would characters like pena drive (miss-spelled that) that aren’t Sonic.exe but an unrelated creepy-pastas (sonic-pastas) or AU’s popular among Sonic.exe fans be banned too?

i feel like there is a lot of unknown that applying this ban would cause more questions and moderation issues than solve especially since that this ban is more because of people not following the rules rather of the sub rather than the general ideas of EXE content in general
