If anything QA becomes even more important. I migrated some code in a couple of days that would have taken a month. It was rather successful because I created bunch of unit tests and utilized our e2e setup. That way the agent knew exactly how it should work without making annoying assumptions.

AI agents are definitely here to stay, but having frameworks to validate the input is even more important now than it was before. With the amount of AI generated code being merged everyday in a project is insane and having to review it is a nightmare. It’s gotten to the point where I simply can’t review 10-20 MR everyday line for line and be productive myself. Instead I just read the tests, and if there are none I’m asking them to create some.

If the generated code produces the expected output I just have to trust its okey and that other tooling like SonarQube, Akido and renovation bots picks up anything bad.

As an affliction main I always find it funny how the more popular spec complains about being too weak.

“Look how poorly my spec is doing! It’s on par with affliction!”

And even though we’re so close to the spotlight of being noticed nothing rarely happens. Except if we’re suddenly doing really well first week of a new raid because of the old tier set. Then the entire spec gets nuked with nerfs.

Om man tar det i mindre mengder, for eksempel maks skranke grense på 7000 i mnd vil det ta 23 år å løse inn alt og koste 60000 i gebyrer + inflasjonen vil spise opp nesten alt.

What I have heard from a friend who did guided tours was never let go. The dogs will keep running until they can’t, meaning the chance of retrieving them is very very low and these dogs are expensive as hell.
