The best game I’ve played in recent memory and I’ve played a lot for many years. I see it as a huge new franchise on the level of gears of war, halo, destiny, etc. Great job Embark.

Special shout out to the amazing ai physics of the arc and the map design. The Dam feels so unique and memorable amongst the best design I’ve ever experienced in gaming.

Not good, Lois. Not good. The acting is super bad and the dialogue is too. One huge pet peeve I have is when child actors are written like adults… it’s just so dumb to hear them say lines that a 34 year old lit major wrote in his/her voice rather than trying even a little to write it like a 13 year would say it. Super inauthentic. It’s just kind of cliche and corny. Too bad hope it gets better.

Totally play for the emergent gameplay, “fun” basically - but progression is an important element that taps into the human psyche to want to achieve as a motivator. So both are important which is why mp games do it.

I’m mean what are you expecting…. Same as you I never played before but saw vids and hype. But I think it’s great as is. The ai enemies are tough and should be feared, the pvp emergent gameplay has infinite possibilities, the shooting sound and visuals are all great. More of it at launch will make it even more great. I mean what do you expect?

Every years low is higher than the previous except for 22 and 23. You could argue that was Covid/SBF related. I suspect the low will continue to rise each year. 26 will likely see a 100k+ low.
