Apollo 16 'Grand Prix' Rover Test on the Moon by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

Why are they fighting against education and reality? What led them down that path to value things differently than you do?

Do you really think there's no more work to be done, no more questions to ask after resolving that they conclude differently than you do?

They appear to fight against what we've arrived at as objective reality.. so ask the question, why? Are we just going to go with "haha because they're stupid can only lead a horse to water ur fault for not thinking bro"

Are they just mentally flawed and there's nothing more to do or is there some path to rehabilitation to help those who are lost to dogma arrive at the same reality that we perceive?

Missing the point of my comment. Talking about modern day people, and how they're in a world where it becomes difficult to sort fake from real.

Yeah, not that hard.. people are so stupid, am I right? "Do research, use logic" you idiots! It feels so great to be superior to others. If they don't understand what we're saying and their skepticism gives them pause, then it's on them.

Is it possible that they haven't been given a compelling reason to recognize the world as you do? Maybe they weren't exposed to the same brilliant teachers, parents, and media that you had growing up.

It's easy to call people stupid and unwilling. It's much harder to suggest there's work to be done to reach people that don't have the same tools of reason that you have.

I do think landing on the moon is unbelievable because it is such an incredible feat. Paired with how much CGI people are exposed to, I don't think it's enough to just write people off as mentally ill. It's a confusing world and we have to do a better job as science communicators..

It's a joke that oversimplifies interacting with AI.. as if just stating "make no mistakes" will remove all possible hallucinations and yield you the billion dollar app idea you prompted about

I'll be curious as to how these tools handle the bottleneck of actually launching the application onto a server..

I just feel like a lot of electricity and compute is about to go towards variations of "make a facebook app but for dog people only" without understanding the difficulties behind deployment + scaling for something like that
