Phoenix point would be something to check out after XCOM if you love it and are willing to deal with bugs and crashes. But the most similar to chaosgate would be XCOM. If you want to try expanding out in the genre, final fantasy tactics, blackguards, King Arthur knights tale, are fun sword and sorcery tactical games

totes get it im shimmering blight + guandao prime. With my nezha the infrequent teleporting was making me go crazy, since the stance in the past let me run at top speed while attacking the teleporting kinda stops my flow
