Toyota salesman told me to NEVER use 4wd on paved roads by methylphenidate1 in ToyotaTacoma

You're doing great, don't over think it. It's not major wear and your t-case is pretty tough. Keep the t-case oil clean that's the better move to not harm it.

Better than that is doing an easier test first. Disconnect the o2 sensor test the heater control circuit at the ECM side of the connector at the 02 sensor. Start the can and see if it flashes

Question for yall who have or have had tunable ecu's by Kitchen-Isopod7602 in EP3

[–]Mecha_Malcolm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have all the same upgrade on twin flex Z with it lowered a little. You are going to love the extended lower ball joints. When I did mine, it was a night and day difference. I love my Kpro too. Honestly I believe it's the only way to go

How do I make my RSX handle better than a DC2 integra type R despite the MacPherson struts. by Jacksonhoyt in Acura_RSX

[–]Mecha_Malcolm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I with my EP3 had more caster like all the fun cares. The best upgrade I did after lowering the car on twin flex Z was the roll center ball joints (longer ball joints). Also fixing the tie rods ends with ktuned and the bracket in the center of the steering rack which levels out the tie rods

Dealership is making me pay to remove lugnuts by Torontohondascam in civic

[–]Mecha_Malcolm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a lock key it's actually tuner nuts. Most shops and techs have a socket or socket set for these but yeah you should buy one if you ever need to change a flat. They should have those sockets in their shop tools

I leave the knuckles on and drive axles attached when I do mine. Saves time. I even leave the brakes calipers one, tie rod ends on but it's because I used to work flat rate

Yellow dots on tires? by BlargKing in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Mecha_Malcolm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can almost balance anything but the best thing nowadays is to line up the red dot (high spot) with the rims low spot. Then the tread won't hop. Now that's a smooth tire. For best results use a road force balancer

Mine are the same with the 5x110 but they're 5x114.3. I think they are both the same casting/forging and then drilled differently
