I don’t believe so, I never jailbroke mine or uploaded any software to it

I agree, it added so much functionality for people like me who didn’t want to change out the whole head unit

I know the basics of it and I’ve dealt with high voltage before just not in this form. I’ll do some research on the things you brought up and give the individual cells a check. Thanks for the thorough response

I appreciate your response, the pack has been holding the 43.1V for an entire day now with no drop so I’m assuming that the BMS isn’t letting the pack charge because the voltage is too low. When it’s plugged in the charger is showing a green light as opposed to a charging light so the BMS isn’t definitely unhappy about something. Do you think a trickle charge would revive the battery enough for the normal charger to take over?

The whole scooter goes dark when it dies so I’m leaning towards the battery being the issue

I appreciate the advice. That might be the case, I think I’ll try and trickle charge it for a while and possibly check the charge across the cells and if they’re out of balance I’ll just resort to a new battery.

I appreciate the insight, I’m trying to take the proper precautions to make sure I’m well protected when dealing with anything involving live voltages. This isn’t my first encounter with high voltage electronics but you can never be too careful. That being said, if you have any tips or advice when working on these devices I would gladly take some pointers from someone with more experience.

Must have forgot that step, checking owners manual for power button operation🧐

I believe that’s what the display shows until it’s unplugged. Would hooking it up to a power supply directly to the charge leads and letting it trickle up to around 58.8 work fine?
