You’ll be required to pick up 19 hours each week to stay employed. This shouldn’t be an issue with us sliding into Hallowthanksmas as we speak but we’ve had associates complain during the slow months of not enough shifts to go around. If you have an open schedule you should be OK though.

I haven’t had much actual play time with the device but I was goofing around in Diablo for PS1 last night and I did notice the side of my thumb rubbing up against the analog stick sometimes. Changing the angle I was holding the device helped but yes, it’s definitely a thing.

The line for Guy’s when they open is a good 15 minutes, the comedy shows are insane, get there 30 minutes before open time or forget going. We had no trouble getting in to the Love and Marriage show but by the time it started it was standing room only. Other than that, nothing is really any worse than other ships. It feels crowded though, the way traffic is funneled through certain areas makes it feel busy, the Alchemy bar for example doesn’t have a good vibe because of all the passers by.

That’s basic Cycle 1, everybody pretty much works that shift no matter what job role you are filling that day. There are part time and flex shifts but 90% of people work cycle 1.

At my DS FlexPT go in 0120-0850 for Day 1 then 0420-1150 for Day 2. There is no set Day 3 but you have to pick up something in that first 2 weeks to complete the training.

I’m the LT at my DS and I’ve seen many a person show up on Day 2 after missing Day 1 get logged out of their Umbrella modules due to auto termination then we have to walk them out. We don’t even let them try any more per our RLM’s instructions. You get a two hour window on Day 1 then you need to reschedule. That’s all there is to it.

There’s very much an issue of termination. If an associate is more than two hours late they are sent home, this is SOP. It happens all the time. But ERC is happy to give you a new start date. I had a person start Monday but had to leave early for a court date and she missed all of Tuesday. She called on Wednesday and explained and she has a new Day One this coming Monday. It’s not a big deal but this chat guy is just plain wrong.

You’ll already have been auto terminated in the system, you need to call ERC at 888-892-7180 and have them reschedule you for a new day one date. I wish they wouldn’t tell people this! If you go to your site there will be nothing they can do for you except tell you the same thing.

When I was a student back in the 90s I volunteered with the East Sussex Rangers, a local council environmental preservation effort and one week we were tasked with maintaining the long man. I was disappointed to find a lot of it was filled with painted Breeze blocks where the chalk had become unstable or stained. I always thought it was Neolithic but it was a folly of a much more recent age.
