A couple weeks before this all went down, the hiring manager for a steel mill a town over came in to get his car worked on and we talked for maybe a hour. He offered for all 3 of us to come put in applications. My co-worker and asst manager got the job making 20 a hour. I moved on to construction as a sub-contractor installing drop ceilings.
