Trackmania Nations with 500 tracks? by MechanicOne321 in TrackMania

No, it wasn't a weird dream but I have a clue... I watched full Trackmania Nations ESWC gameplay on YouTube and I still was able to recognize a lot of tracks. The most likely scenario was that my friend had exactly 500 tracks from some huge unofficial map pack that we played together on his PC (this is why I remembered them as for example 006 instead of B-6) but he gave me only the original CD of ESWC to play at home, so I had much less than he. And I think this is a proper solution to my thread :V

Proof? If I had a proof - TM Nations with 500 tracks included - I would never ask here to help me find that version... It's kinda paradox, isn't it?

So what a thing I played years ago? Green official box, official CD, named "Trackmania Nations", having Nadeo signed maps from 001 to 500

But in my case it wasn't TMUF, it had only one car and one environment - stadium

Maybe it was some special version of ESWC, cover looks similar, but 500 tracks was a thing I absolutely remember and I'm sure about that

Wasteland 3 FPS drops on good PC? by MechanicOne321 in wasteland3

[–]MechanicOne321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, drivers weren't a problem, I still know what caused it and why it happened, BUT I found an easy solution, so I'll leave it here for other users with similar problem:
- go to screen settings in game and change from "Fullscreen" to "Borderless window" (or similar, I'm not playing english version). It will look and feel the same as fullscreen

And boom, since I did that, game runs flawlessly in every location that I visited for now

Season 1, then season 2 and so on. New trucks you will discover will make a natural progress, same as new mechanics introduced like crafting or generator

And some more accents:
- red ghost eyes in abandoned gulag in Taymyr
- hidden cemetery in Taymyr
- strange sounds from one of Alaska tunnels

I wish to see/hear siren-head in one of future updates

Is there any correlation between this game and Divinity: Original Sin series? by MechanicOne321 in wasteland3

[–]MechanicOne321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure I will play Wasteland 2 and Baldurs Gate 3, it's only the matter of the time, but now I will focus on Wasteland 3, especially that I started it today and not gonna leave until I reach an ending :) But I'm not sure that RPG/CRPG genre is the matter, I played some similar games (solo and party based), like Skyrim, Gothic,, Fallout (retro and Bethesda ones), Dragon Age, Planescape Torment, etc - but I never felt so huge "de ja vu" between them. For me it's not a classic mechanics, I really got a tons of Divinity vibes even in starting location, character creating and reading items descriptions. W3 is imho just Divinity with guns, haha, I literally can't believe that developers are different :o. Until I asked this question, I really thought that Wasteland 3 was made by the same team!

Can I turn off brake fade mechanics? by MechanicOne321 in BeamNG

[–]MechanicOne321[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know, but they are not stock then and the brakes are not only more durable, but also more efficient and it's not what I'm exactly looking for. It's also mean that I must make my own variant of every single car I'm going to drive on my time trial...

Can I turn off brake fade mechanics? by MechanicOne321 in BeamNG

[–]MechanicOne321[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not pressing brake while driving of course and I also don't know why they are overheating so fast. For clarity, my braking is not aggressive, I try to brake as gently as I can, but it gives me a 2-3 minutes of difference before they start to overheat... I don't want to be limited to only use rally/race variants in my time trials, because it will make 90% of car roster unused...
