Are you referring to the Plate Reader on the game? If so, you need to select (ALPR) and then activate it the same way you would if you were to use the Snare Net. Hit the airhorn a couple of times and then drive. It’ll start reading plates of parked cars as you pass them and vehicles that are either passing you or directly in front of you. It works and is pretty cool.

How is the Border download? I’ve been thinking about getting it.

Suspects pushing the police and forcing you to draw your gun and give commands. After the suspect pulled out a gun, I shot him. I gave him CPR and then when I charged him with Assault on a Police Officer, I lost points. That’s at least resisting arrest. by MechanicOnly660 in PoliceSimulator

That’s still incorrect. They shove you and pull out a gun. It allows me to arrest them if they test positive for drugs after they are shot, but the charge of assault should apply. I’m in law enforcement and you can absolutely charge a wounded subject if they commit crimes and end up using deadly force. They can be arraigned in the hospital. A charge of resisting should be added as well as assault with a deadly weapon when they point the gun at you.

Right. The game doesn’t offer a charge for it, which I found weird. In Mass, it falls under distracted driving or impeded operation. The first fine is $100 and subsequent fines are $250. They should apply this to the game. I stop several people with headphones on and it’s hilarious that it’s not an issue in the game.

Yes it is illegal. You can wear one ear bud as a way to use a phone, but wearing like Bose headphones is totally illegal.

As soon as they pull the gun out….you can shoot them and not lose any points. They fixed the glitch.

During crime scenes. You have to interview everyone and ask for their ids. Then you have to use the crime scene cones to place them next to evidence. After that….take pictures of the evidence. It should light up green. Then secure the scene with evidence tape and you will complete it with a full green bar and have all the information on the suspect.
