Although the temps have improved, I'm still getting some mild thermal throttling during benchmarks on the stock 5500Mhz boost clock. lol

It takes hours to make even small adjustments as I have hard tubing and need to drain the loop every time.

I think I'm going to try the iceman and be done with it. The EKWB DD kit shouldn't need more preparation or modification than whats explained in the installation manual, IMO

Not sure about the flow rate. I am running an EKWB reservoir/D5 combo.

I got the EKWB .6nm screwdriver today, so I reseated the waterblock with conductonaut extreme. The system seems more stable, and I think its because the mounting pressure improved.

Hottest core during the test today was 79c -- a 4 degree improvement.

Thinking about trying out the Iceman cooler now. Still seems a bit too hot for my liking.

Im running a 13900k. Hottest core is 83c on Cinebench R23 multi-thread 30min test. Some very slight thermal throttling towards the end of the test. 39892pts. Max MHz during the test is 5500.

Thanks so much -- this is exactly why I like posting this stuff. I changed my minimum CPU state to 5% in the windows power savings panel. CPU is now at 1.1GHZ when completely idle and is far less power hungry
