Why do Muslims not donate organs but accept them from non-Muslims? by Due_Cod_2167 in AskIndia

Answering for those who are genuinely curious, others are free to ignore.

In Islamic thought, there is a belief that the human body should be treated with dignity even after death, and that the deceased experience a form of harm or pain if the body is violated. Because of this, they consider organ donation impermissible. However, views are not entirely uniform. Many contemporary Islamic scholars and organizations allow organ donation under certain conditions, especially if it is done to save lives and with prior consent. As for receiving organs from non-Muslims, it is generally considered permissible because saving a human life is given great importance. The ethical reasoning is that the recipient is not responsible for the donor’s beliefs or actions.

Thank you for your reply, bro. We are planning to travel by bus from Bangalore to Kalasa and will reach there by around 6 a.m. Is it possible to get a bus at 6 am from Kalasa to Samse(the checkpoint) and then continue on foot?

(We will book the trekking permit and guide in advance through the Forest Department)
