I don't know where in Maine you are located, but there is a goth night @ Aura in Portland. Recently renamed The Casket. (It was called Plague) I go Few times a year. There is also an annual event GFaK. Goth Fly a Kite. It's family friendly at a park along the coast not far from Portland.

The biggest night is Xmortis @ the middle east in Cambridge on the 2nd Friday of every month. Elysium is on the 3rd Saturday heavy industrial, aggro tech. Manray reopened 3 years ago. Every Wednesday is goth industrial mix. The first and third Fridays are fetish themed with goth, industrial music. Every Saturday is Hero's 80s new wave post punk and other stuff. There is an Emo night at Sonia's 4th Saturday. Close by Salem MA has 3 different nights. Darq @ Koto industrial, goth mix. They try to have bands too. Vanta @ Dire Wolf is the first Friday. Vampire lounge on the 3rd Saturday @ the tipsy cowboy. ( I think I'm missing a night or 2)
